FIDLAR return with ‘FSU’, their first new music in three years


FIDLAR have returned with their first new music in three years – watch the video for his or her livid new single ‘FSU’ beneath.

The observe follows the band’s 2019 album ‘Virtually Free’, and is lifted from a forthcoming EP which is due out in 2023.

Talking of their return, the band mentioned: “New FIDLAR is leaning into the extremes. Loud, louder, loud. Three chords and the reality. Catchy and obnoxious. Lyrics are very thought mouth. It’s chatting with the FIDIOTS of the world.”

On the fierce tune, frontman Zac Carper sings: “I’ve been waking up, getting so fucked up / I’m so fucked up, attempting to fuck shit up.”

The observe sees FIDLAR work with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Sardy, whose credit embrace LCD Soundsystem and Crimson Scorching Chili Peppers.

Forward of the discharge of the brand new EP, FIDLAR are set to play a small variety of North American headline reveals in September and October.

Again in 2020, FIDLAR teamed up with SWMRS for a blistering cowl of The 1975‘s tune ‘Folks’.

The 2 bands recorded their model of the Manchester group’s observe, which featured on The 1975’s 2020 album ‘Notes on a Conditional Type’, as “a nod” to the Matty Healy-led band.
