From native music to fireworks, lots on show at Starburst 2022


Neurotic Gumbo will perform twice at Starburst 2022 Saturday, Aug. 27 at Doyle Field in Leominster.

LEOMINSTER — Music, awards and fireworks can be on show on the thirtieth version of Starburst this weekend.

The annual summertime custom will happen Saturday, Aug. 27 at Doyle Area. (The rain date is Sunday, Aug. 28.) It’ll additionally mark the official opening of the Twin Cities Rail Path, which runs behind Doyle Area and throughout Priest Road.

For the second straight 12 months, Starburst just isn’t being held at its regular time in mid-June. And, for the second straight 12 months, native musicians will take heart stage.
