Mates, household internet hosting comedy membership fundraiser in reminiscence of man who died in bike crash

Family members have organized a comedy club-style fundraiser on Aug. 19 that may help the household of Nicholas “Nick” Cacciapaglia, a Toms River man who died in a March bike mishap.

Cacciapaglia, 24, died March 13 when the bike he was studying to trip in a Route 37 parking zone by accident slid into site visitors and was fatally struck by a passing vehicle. Household and mates described him as a beloved, hard-working younger man who had a smile for anyone.

They’ve organized an evening of guffaws in his reminiscence, “Celebrating Nicholas through laughter,” on the Toms River Elks Lodge at 600 Washington St., Toms River.

Comedians Chris Covert and Joseph Anthony will carry out. Tickets are $30 for the present, which begins at 7 p.m. The occasion could have a money bar and attendees can convey their very own snacks.

That is an adult-only occasion, because the comedians will seemingly use some express language, the organizers say. Tickets can be found at: celebratingnicholasthroughlaughter.brownpapertickets.com.
