Firm behind giant Bradford festivals goes into liquidation


AN events firm that placed on large-scale festivals in Bradford has entered voluntary liquidation.

A gathering of collectors was held on July 20 and Simon Weir, of DSI Business Restoration, confirmed he had been appointed liquidator and the corporate had been positioned in Collectors’ Voluntary Liquidation.

The administrators mentioned they’ve been left “devastated” on the state of affairs.

They added they might be seeking to “make issues as proper as we are able to”.

A letter, seen by the Telegraph & Argus, addressed to collectors from DSI Enterprise Restoration, headed Occasions Folks Restricted, was despatched on July 6 and mentioned: “The director(s) of the above firm, having regards to its monetary place, have determined to start liquidation proceedings so that the corporate must be wound up voluntarily.”

It added: “It’s not anticipated that there shall be a distribution to any class of creditor, as a result of paucity of realisable property.”
